International/ Domestic flights suspended and lockdown outside Kathmandu

International flights Nepal, Nepal flights cancelled, Weekly flights Kathmandu to Delhi, Lockdown outside Kathmandu

Amidst the lockdown imposed by Nepal Government in Kathmandu valley, the government has further decided to suspend all domestic flights from 04th May 2021 and international flights from 06th May 2021 mid-night until further notice. The action has been taken in order to curb the rapid spread of Covid-19 (New variant). Previously, international flights had been allowed excluding the countries severely hit by Covid-19.

However, revising the earlier decision international and domestic flights will be suspended, but as per the air bubble agreement the goverment will allow bi-weekly flights from Kathmandu – Delhi – Kathmandu following necessary government protocols.

Lockdown outside Kathmandu valley
The Government has further announced lockdown outside Kathmandu valley in 31 districts including Kaski (Pokhara), Chitwan and Ruphandhi (Lumbini) etc. The following decision has been taken addressing the rising cases of Covid-19 (New Variant) outside of Kathmandu. 

During this period high risk zones such as offices, shopping malls, schools, gym, restaurants etc. will remain close and all private and public vehicle will not be allowed to ply.
