Lockdown in Kathmandu, and other parts of Nepal due to Covid-19. How it is affecting foreign and domestic travel to and from Kathmandu, Nepal. Updated mandates for foreign travel to Nepal.
Are you a foreigner travelling to Nepal ?
If yes, you will require a negative PCR test obtained within 72 hours prior to departure from your country of origin and will be subjected to a mandatory 10-day quarantine on arrival. In addition you will have to submit proof of hotel booking to go into quarantine in Nepal.
Are you a Nepali citizen travelling back to Nepal ?
If yes, you will need to submit a negative PCR report taken 72 hours prior to arrival in Nepal. Nepali citizens will also require to remain in quarantine at home or at an hotel for 10 days.
