Relief for travelers as flights resume after the lockdown

Domestic and international flights to resume with implementation of strict safety protocols after flights had been suspended due to the lockdown.

Travellers can breath a sigh of relief as Nepal on Wednesday (23rd June) announced the commencement of both domestic and international flights to limited destinations abiding strict safety protocols, weeks after the flights were suspended due to the imposition of lockdown which lasted about 1.5 month amidst the second wave of virus
According to the Ministry of Civil Aviation, domestic flights will be allowed to operate with 50% seat occupancy from July 1, while international flights will be operated from June 24 as per the safety protocol developed earlier by the government. The international flight schedule is as follows:
